Welcome to Pre-K at San Jacinto Christian Academy. We are honored by the opportunity to come alongside families in partnership to help young children flourish as we seek to develop school readiness in a loving, Christ-centered environment.
San Jacinto Christian Academy is committed to developing a faith-based early education program that is focused on Christian values, sound child development practices, and the learning of foundational skills.
Our curriculum is designed to promote progress in all developmental areas integrating Biblical truth and academic excellence. Our staff creates caring, nurturing, and engaging environments in their classrooms that are ready to welcome young students as they learn and grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically.
We are so grateful for each family who is a part of our Pre-K program at San Jacinto Christian Academy. Thank you for entrusting us with the precious gift of your child as we partner together in Kingdom education.
In Christ’s Love,
Julie Seals, Elementary/Pre-K Principal
Start children off the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

The Pre-K school day begins with a time of Praise & Worship, a Bible lesson, and a Bible memory verse. We seek to balance the rest of the school day by including both structured/non-structured activities, teacher-directed/student-directed activities, active/quiet times, and individualized/group instruction. We incorporate many hands-on learning activities as well as have students engage in play-based learning through centers. We work on learning foundational skills such as colors, shapes, counting, number recognition, fine motor skills, and language skills including listening, letter recognition, writing, and sounds.
Our Pre-K program also utilizes the Honorable Character program to foster Biblical character in our students as we work on listening, obeying, working hard, sharing, telling the truth, and practicing self-control.
Pre-K students experience art class taught by our SJCA art teacher and music class taught by our SJCA choir and orchestra teachers weekly. Students also participate weekly in physical education class taught by our SJCA PE teachers.
